Taxi rank is directly outside arrivals; no booking needed. Bolt also works on the island and is usually a few euros cheaper, but pickup at the airport is signposted to a separate bay.

  • Up on the São Martinho hill above the Lido — big views, but a steep walk down into town and a much steeper one back up. Use the hotel shuttle, a taxi or the car.
  • Indoor and outdoor pools, jacuzzi and a small gym. Breakfast buffet is included in most rates.
  • Ask reception to confirm where the rental company should leave the car and where to drop the keys on the 25th.
  • Wi-Fi can be patchy in the rooms — download offline maps before hiking days.
